A potter's grandfather gave the taste of ceramics, and of varnished earth in particular.
This work of transmission provided the opportunity for meetings and rich exchanges around an art trade and the men and women who made him live.

René Anchierri's niece, I grew up surrounded by his works, present in my family, but also memories and stories that accompanied them. These family testimonies fed my eyes and attachment to his work at an early age, both eclectic and deeply singular. I had the chance to meet him when he lived in Mirabel-aux-Baronnies and thus became a prominent figure.
His work went through the 20th century and as a professor of history, I liked to relate his life to the great events.
